Municipal Court/Administrative Clerk

The City of Mexico is accepting applications for Municipal Court/Administrative Clerk in the Law Department.  This is a full-time position with job responsibilities including: Record keeping appertaining to City Court as required by the State Court Administrators’ office, perform clerical and basic accounting work. As court clerk attend all City Court proceedings. Records and files all City Court proceedings. Issues summons, State forms and Warrants for non-appearance. Post and track court fine payments. Prepare and submit monthly report requirements to various agencies. Prepare subpoenas for Municipal Court trials. May answer telephones and screen visitors to determine nature of their inquiry.
